Only in the gorge –you can put on a shortie, rig-up, sheet-in, plane-off, round-up, carve, gybe, bear-off, then ride swell, and de-rig all in a day.
It’s also a place where more people get their daily news from Temira or the weather page then CNN or BBC, they pray to the wind gods, make more S-turns than U-turns, investment services are places like Big Winds, 2nd Wind and Windance, gear and equipment value more than their homes and cars, and some actually live in their homes which are their cars, eat at places called Brian’s Pourhouse and 3 Rivers Grill while battling river nose from a place they’ll revisit the next day… and still be proud to say they live in the Hood AND had the best day!
